1.0 Introduction
Welcome to AcePick. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the AcePick mobile application and related services (“Platform”).
By creating an account or using AcePick, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2.0 About AcePick
AcePick is a digital platform that connects:
- Clients seeking services or goods
- Verified professionals (“Workers”) offering services
- Delivery Riders facilitating delivery of goods
AcePick acts as a facilitator only and is not a party to any agreement between users.
3.0 Eligibility
To use AcePick, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate registration information
- Complete required verification (including BVN where applicable)
- Not have been previously banned from the Platform
4.0 Account Registration
- You must create an account to access features
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- You must not share your login details
- One user may only operate one account
5.0 Identity Verification
- All users must complete identity verification
- BVN is used for verification purposes only
- AcePick does not store your BVN
- Workers may be required to provide additional ID and certifications
Failure to complete verification may limit your access to features.
6.0 How the Platform Works
6.1 Service Flow
- Client submits a service request
- Workers respond
- Client selects a Worker
- Communication occurs within the app
- Worker creates an invoice
- Client reviews and pays
- Payment is held securely in escrow
- Worker performs the service
- Client confirms completion
- Payment is released to the Worker
6.2 Marketplace
- Clients may buy and sell goods
- Payments are processed through the Platform
- Delivery may be handled by third-party Delivery Riders
7.0 Payments & Escrow
- All payments must be made through the Platform
- Payments are held in escrow until service completion
- Funds are released only upon client confirmation or dispute resolution
⚠️ Payments made outside the Platform are not protected.
8.0 Fees
- AcePick charges a transaction fee on completed services
- Applicable fees will be clearly displayed before payment
- Fees are non-refundable once a transaction is completed
9.0 Wallet & Withdrawals
- Users have an in-app wallet
- Workers can withdraw earnings to their verified bank account
- Bank details must match verified identity
10.0 User Conduct
Users must not:
- Provide false information
- Engage in fraud or illegal activity
- Harass or abuse other users
- Share contact details to bypass the Platform
- Conduct transactions outside the Platform
Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
11.0 Communication
- All communication must occur within the Platform
- Sharing personal contact details is prohibited
- AcePick may monitor communications for safety and compliance
12.0 Disputes
- Disputes must be raised within a specified time
- AcePick will investigate and make a final decision
- Possible outcomes include refunds, payouts, or partial settlements
13.0 Marketplace & Delivery
- Sellers are responsible for product accuracy and quality
- Delivery Riders are independent third parties
- AcePick is not liable for delivery delays or damages
14.0 Limitation of Liability
AcePick:
- Does not guarantee service quality or outcomes
- Is not responsible for user actions
- Is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
15.0 Account Suspension
AcePick may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraud or abuse
- Fail to complete verification
16.0 Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
17.0 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
18.0 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
