Security is built into our foundation. We use mandatory BVN identity matching for all users to prevent fraud, an Escrow Payment System to protect your funds, and integrated safety tools like real-time location checks and in-app voice recording for physical meetings.
Downloading the app and browsing the marketplace or professional directory is completely free. AcePick only generates revenue when you succeed—we charge a flat 8.85% service fee on successfully completed jobs, which covers our escrow security, verification services, and 24/7 dispute support.
Clients
AcePick is a secure platform connecting you with verified professionals across Nigeria. To start, download the app, complete your profile, and use the search bar to find the specific expert or service you need.
Every user on AcePick undergoes mandatory identity matching using their Bank Verification Number (BVN). You can also review their past ratings, portfolio, and “Verified” badge before initiating a chat.
We use a secure Escrow System. When you approve a professional’s invoice, your payment is held safely by AcePick. The funds are only released to the worker once you confirm the job has been completed to your satisfaction.
Yes. You can use our secure in-app chat, voice, or video calling features to discuss your project. This allows you to finalize details without ever having to share your private phone number.
If a dispute arises, you can pause the payment release and contact our support team. We use in-app chat logs and voice recordings (if used) to investigate and resolve issues within 72 hours.
Professionals/Artisans
Build a strong profile with your skills and past work. When a client contacts you, discuss the project and use the in-app tool to send a professional invoice. Once the client pays into Escrow, you are cleared to begin working.
AcePick charges a flat 8.85% service fee only on successfully completed jobs. This fee covers the cost of secure escrow hosting, identity verification of your clients, and 24/7 dispute resolution support.
BVN verification is mandatory to maintain a high-trust environment. AcePick does not store your BVN; we use a secure third-party system to match your name and identity, ensuring you are a verified professional on the platform.
Once the client releases the funds from Escrow, the money hits your AcePick Wallet instantly. You can withdraw your balance to any Nigerian bank account, with processing typically taking 1–3 business days.
During the invoicing stage, you and the client decide who provides materials. You can either include material costs in your invoice or charge only for your workmanship while the client provides the supplies.
Marketplace & Delivery Riders
Any verified “Client” or “Professional” user can register a store on the platform. Once your store is reviewed and approved by our support team, you can list physical goods for sale to the entire community.
AcePick has a dedicated network of Verified Delivery Riders. Once a sale is made, a rider is assigned to pick up the item and deliver it to the buyer’s location. You can track the progress in real-time
Absolutely. The buyer’s payment for a physical item is held in Escrow just like service hires. The seller is paid once the buyer confirms they have received the item from the rider in the described condition.
For in-person meetings or deliveries, we provide a Location Check system and Voice Recording features. Both parties should use these tools to confirm their whereabouts and keep a record of the exchange for safety.
n line with our Terms of Use, we strictly prohibit the sale of weapons, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, or any items that violate Nigerian law. Any attempt to sell these will lead to permanent account termination.

Your privacy is our priority. We do not store your raw BVN; it is used only via a secure, encrypted third-party channel to verify your identity. All personal data is handled in strict compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 to ensure your information remains confidential and protected.
We provide mandatory Location Check-ins and optional In-App Voice Recording features for all physical hires.
